At a time of need, I tried to contact two funeral homes. One didn't answer my enquiry, and the other was "booked" until July. I can't tell you how fortunate I feel to have found Gary. He is the consummate professional, a brilliant communicator and someone I would highly recommend. I can't find the words to describe how blessed I, and my family, feel. He was an absolutely super star.

We could not thank Gary enough for supporting us and guiding us through the most difficult time of our lives. From the moment I spoke with Gary, I felt at ease that my baby will be looked after and that I can leave her in trusted hands. We never had to deal with any arrangements like this in our lives but Gary guided us from the begining with his best advices and care. I'm forever grateful for the opportunity to spend some time with our baby at their chapel - we didn't have much time together thus every minute was so precious and invaluable ♡ Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

From the moment they arrived at the house after Mum had passed away, they treated her with the utmost dignity and respect. They looked after her beautifully and ensured she had the best send-off possible. We chose Valentine & Turner on the back of their reviews but they have surpassed expectation. They helped us with the funeral for our 8yr old boy and could not have been any more helpful. They accommodated us visiting our boy before the funeral and we’re accommodating. On the day of the funeral they were so respectful and treated our boy as if he was one of their own. I received the best service I could have hoped for. Gary and Kirsty were so easy to talk to and they were very sympathetic and compassionate. Valentine & Turner for me were my light during one of my most darkest moments. My mum died unexpectedly & I had never planned a funeral & me & my family were a complete mess. I knew straight away I wanted mum to be taken care of by this wonderful family as a friend had her service with them for her mother. I contacted Gary the day after my mum passed as I was so confused & lost. From helping us from the start to giving my mum a stunning send off considering the times were in right now I cannot thank them enough. Somehow they made one of my most painful moments a little easier. I knew my mum was well taken care of & I can’t recommend them enough. They treat your love ones like one of their own. Outstanding service provided by these guys, Unfortunately I lost my dad to cancer and all at Valentine and Turner made the funeral arrangements so easy after meeting them the first time we knew we made the right choice, They give a very personal touch that you just wouldn't get in most funeral directors and clearly care and take pride in what they do, Would highly recommend to anyone.

I don’t know where to start with this review, because I don’t think it’s possible to put into words the amount of gratitude we have for Gary and The Valentine and Turner gang. We lost our beautiful mum in July and from start to finish, Gary had been supportive, understanding and respectful of all our wishes and of mums. If sending someone off could be perfect, then this was perfect for our mum. All the stops were pulled and it went off without a hitch, her day was an emotional, perfect and beautiful day just as she was. Gary ran the service and we cannot thank him enough for all he done. Words can not describe the excellent service we received from Valentine and Turner. We felt they honoured our mother beautifully. Every detail handled with tenderness and quality. I cannot recommend them enough. Sadly, in the 2 years since my mum passed I've been to a few funerals and I can say without doubt that the service rendered by Valentine & Turner is heads and shoulders above others. I originally gave 4 stars because of my disappointment with the work of the photograph company (who Valentine & Turner recommended). Given they attended church, burial and reception, they took more photos of the funeral directors than of our family and guests.

I would like to express how wonderful and professional Valentine and Turner were with looking after my Dad John Rayner when he sadly passed away, they were professional and courteous at all times and nothing was too much trouble for them. Unfortunately my Sister and I most recently said goodbye to our lovely, quirky Dad Peter, it was the saddest time of our lives and we can honestly say that we would not have coped half so well if it wasn't for the kindness and compassion shown to us by Gary, Laura, Michelle (resident celebrant) and the whole team at Valentine and Turner. Nothing was ever too much trouble and on more than one occasion the team accommodated our needs out of hours, namely opening the chapel and taking telephone calls late at night. Additionally they managed to meet all of our needs by blending their experience, professionalism, conscientiousness and caring attitude to provide a first class service, they really are a lovely and genuinely kind group of people. My son’s celebration – funeral yesterday was organised perfectly by Valentine & Turner. Their understanding, supportive, compassion and caring kindness knew no bounds. Cannot thank the Tuner family enough for the care and support they gave us at such a difficult time. From the moment we stepped into the beautiful funeral home we were welcomed with open arms and nothing was too much trouble. The whole family supported us every step of the way we felt blessed to have such a dedicated family take care of our brother Sean. Despite the busy Christmas and new year period they accommodated us and went up and above to ease our journey and pain they even took care of needs for vulnerable members of my family and I can honestly say I couldn't have got through it without them.
